Klaassen eyes Europa League glory with Everton

Everton new-boy Davy Klaassen is determined to reach the Europa League final again, after losing with Ajax against Manchester United last month.

Ajax lost 2-0 in the final of the competition, as Jose Mourinho's United clinched the silverware, but Klaassen will have another chance to reach the final next season.

Everton qualified for the continental competition after finishing seventh in the Premier League, and their new attacking midfielder has declared that it is one of his targets for the 2017/18 campaign.

Klaassen told the Toffees’ official website: “That would be a really nice way to end my first season at Everton. It was a great experience [with Ajax].

“The further you go in the competition, the greater it becomes. It was a great experience for us as a young team and I think we all learned a lot from it.”
