Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has urged the club's young talent to continue working hard and develop their skills as they aim to take the next step.
Hot prospects Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ben Woodburn, Ovie Ejaria, and Harry Wilson made their competitive debuts for the Merseysiders in the 2016/17 season.
The academy players have impressed Klopp thus far, with Rhian Brewster also getting a run in the post-season friendly against Sydney FC, but he has pushed them to keep up the hard work.
"The boys did really well but they all have to improve," Klopp told club's official website.
"They have to go from being really skilled kids to being players that you have to use. That's the next step.
"Look at Rhian Brewster, everyone knows about his talent. It's fantastic. Ben is a step ahead and someone like Trent is already another step ahead. It's all cool and good for the future."
