Lorenzo Insigne's agent has indicated that Chelsea would need to fork out more than £45 million to stand chance of prying him away from Napoli.
The 26-year-old forward is a reported target for the Premier League champions as they search for alternatives to Diego Costa, who has been told he is free to find a new club.
Insigne enjoyed his most prolific season to date for the Azzurri last time out, scoring 18 goals and providing nine assists in 37 appearances as they finished third in Serie A.
The Italy international recently committed his future to the Naples outfit until 2022, and his representative, Franco della Monica, says the fee reported in the British tabloids falls well short of the mark.
"I would start by saying the offer reported in the Sun would be low and he has always been in the sights of many clubs," Della Monica told Radio Kiss Kiss.
"The priority for Lorenzo, though, is to be wearing the Napoli shirt and to be rewarded in an important way by his team. Now he has both and he is happy as well."
