Manchester City have confirmed that senior defenders Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna as well as winger Jesus Navas have all been released by the club.
The trio join goalkeeper Willy Caballero in being shown the door, while also joining the Argentine is now legendary City right back Javier Zabaleta, who has signed for West Ham United on a two-year deal.
Other less high profile departures include Callum Bullock, Billy Thomas O'Brien and Ellis Kane Plummer.
The news became apparent earlier on Friday when the Premier League released a list of all players who were let go by all of the club's in the English top flight.
Possibly the most dramatic departure of the day was the release of Zlatan Ibrahimovic by Manchester United, as the club seemingly let him go due to his serious knee injury.
Sagna was at City for three years, Navas for four while Clichy enjoyed six seasons with the English giants, making 192 appearances in total.
