Hertha Berlin are reportedly on the brink of signing RB Leipzig striker Davie Selke for a fee rumoured to be around nine million Euro.
The 22-year-old endured a tough season with RB Leipzig as he made just 19 appearances of which only two were starts. It appears he was in the shadow of lethal hitman Timo Werner who scored over 20 times in the Bundesliga for the Bulls.
Nonetheless, Selke is still highly regarded and it appears his next port of call could be the Old Lady. Sky Sports claim the forward has agreed a five-year deal with Hertha and that Leipzig and the club are close to agreeing a transfer fee.
Despite getting limited chances with the team from Saxony, the Schorndorf-born star managed four league goals for the Ralph Hasenhuttl-coached outfit.
He has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League with Swansea City, West Ham and Everton all reportedly interested in his services.
