Lucas Perez’s agent has revealed that the Arsenal forward is looking to get his career back on track elsewhere after limited opportunities at the club.
The Spaniard endured a frustrating debut season at the Emirates Stadium following his switch from Deportivo La Coruna for a reported fee of £17.1 million in August last year.
Perez managed just 21 appearances in all competitions, nine of those starts, as he contributed seven goals and five assists for Arsene Wenger's side.
The 28-year-old only made the bench for the FA Cup final, which the north Londoners won for a record 13th time when they beat newly-crowned Premier League champions Chelsea in the final on Saturday.
Wenger had confessed earlier this month that Perez deserved more game time, but the player isn't willing to spend a second year in the English capital, according to his agent, Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle.
"The idea is to be able to play for another club," Lovelle said. "We want to leave and Arsenal already know. Do you know anyone who is happy but has no opportunities?"
