Traore pleased to pen new Monchengladbach deal

Winger Ibrahima Traore was delighted to sign a new deal with VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach that will keep him at the club until 2021.

The Guinea international joined the club in 2014 from Bundesliga rivals VfB Stuttgart and has since made 87 appearances, scoring 13 goals.

He did, however, endure a frustrating season, making only 14 Bundesliga appearances due to injury problems.

"I'm delighted to have been able to sort out my future early so I can concentrate on playing football for Borussia," said Traore, according to BBC.

"I have been treated nicely by everyone here and by the fans, so I feel good.

"I'm feeling at home every day and I could not think of going away and start a new life somewhere else, this is home."
