Wenger: We are up for the challenge

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes his charges are up for the challenge of qualifying for the Champions League.

The Gunners took a massive step towards their goal of an obligatory top-four place when they defeated Manchester United on the weekend and Southampton on Wednesday, and are now hot on the heels of Manchester City, who they trail by three points.

"We have to show it again, we know we have to play to win the games," Wenger was quoted by FourFourTwo on Friday.

"So [we must] keep the focus on the way we want to play and the team spirit, you could see that the team is together and fights and is ready for it."

"They have to recover now physically and see how everybody recovers for Saturday and see if I need to make some changes," said the Frenchman, who takes his team to tell Bet365 Stadium to face Stoke City this weekend.
