Olympique Lyonnais manager Bruno Genesio remains optimistic about his side's chances in the Europa League semi-finals despite their heavy first-leg defeat.
Lyon were thrashed 4-1 at the Amsterdam Arena in the first leg when a brace from Bertrand Traore and goals from Kasper Dolberg and Amin Younes put Ajax in charge of the tie. Mathieu Valbuena produced a valuable away goal for the French side.
However, Genesio believes his side have what it takes to turn the tie around at home on Thursday as they aim to clinch a spot in the final.
"There was some dejection after the first leg, but I have stressed that it is still only half-time in the tie and it's still possible for us," he told his press conference ahead of the second leg, according to the official Ligue 1 website.
"We have spoken a lot but now we have to show what we can do. We're capable of scoring lots of goals at the Parc OL. We really believe in ourselves."
