Muangthong United face Kashima Antlers in their final AFC Group E fixture Japan on Wednesday with both teams looking for the win.
A win for Kashima would see them finish top of the group, while the side from north Bangkok need just a point.
Muangthong have been the surprise package of the group so far and remain undefeated, winning all three home fixtures while drawing both games on the road.
Even more impressive has been their defensive record, the reigning Thai champions conceding just one goal so far.
They enter the clash in top form after a 4-0 win over Navy on Saturday in the Thai League and stand seven points clear at the top of the table having lost just once all season.
Coach Totchtawan Sripan will be without suspended trio Xisco, Lee Ho and full-back Tristan Do, but told reporters at the pre-match press conference that his team were good enough to get a result.

Hosts Kashima are also looking to top the group, even though that will mean a tie against Chinese giants Guangzhou Evergrande.
The Antlers have been strong at home, defeating Ulsan 2-0 and Brisbane 3-0 and will look to stay perfect at home against their Thai visitors.
Kashima coach Ishii Masatada said: “We want to finish top in the group so we will try to win.”
