Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says "only a top performance" will be good enough to steer them to victory in Sunday's clash with Manchester United at the Emirates.
The eagerly-anticipated Premier League clash pits two teams vying for a place in the top four against each other, although United will be fielding a weakened team, as manager Jose Mourinho revealed.
The Portuguese boss said he would be resting a number of his players for their return leg of the Europa League semi-final against Celta Vigo next week Thursday.
But, Wenger still expected United to put up a fight.
"We focus on our performance," he was quoted by Sky Sports on Thursday. "I don't know what Man United will do.
"We know anyway they have a massive squad with quality players and only a top performance will get us the win we want," the Frenchman said.
Asked on whether a weakened United team could give the Gunners an advantage, Wenger added: "No, the only advantage we can give is to focus on ourselves, not a weaker Manchester United.
