Former Arsenal star Nwankwo Kanu believes Nigerian compatriot Victor Moses deserves the CAF Footballer of the Year award for his performances at Chelsea.
Moses has become a key member of Antonio Conte's charges this season as they strode to the top of the Premier League standings.
Kanu has backed the wing-back to claim the award currently held by Riyad Mahrez, who helped Leicester City to the Premier League title last season.

"Victor Moses has been ever present for Chelsea who are on course to win the double this season, as they currently lead the English Premier League with less than four games to go. They are also through to the FA Cup final," said Kanu, according to Soccernet Nigeria.
“He has proved critics wrong. It is now left for CAF to do their rating. As for me, he deserves the 2017 CAF award. Although the season is still on and no one can tell what the future will be."
