The Philippines Football League champions came into the fixture knowing a win would secure top spot in the group, ahead of Johor Darul Ta'zim. They started with real intent, making frequent attacking forays against the Cambodian club.

John McGlynn's side were already eliminated before the game even started so the Blue Dragon were simply playing for pride.

Right winger Paolo Salenga supplied the telling pass for the opening strike as Mulders slotted home past goalkeeper Sou Yaty in the 12 minute.

It took just 15 minutes for Global to double the lead, with forward Daryl Roberts showing some great technical footwork on the edge of the area to tee up Minegish for another easy finish.

After the break, the visitors threw men forward in hope of clawing away back into the tie, and the got their reward just before the hour mark.

Maycon Calijuri's set-piece delivery was pin-point for defender Seth Rosib to head home beyond Patrick Deyto in the home goal.

However, that was as good as it got for them. Toshiaki Imai's men went on to score again – a last-gasp effort in stoppage time from the impressive Roberts – to seal the win.
