Ancelotti: Bayern are not happy

FC Bayern München coach Carlo Ancelotti expressed dissatisfaction with the club’s exit from the UEFA Champions League and DFB-Pokal Cup but says he wants to win the Bundesliga without delay.

Bayern were beaten in controversial fashion over two legs by Real Madrid in a Champions League quarter-final and also bowed out to Borussia Dortmund in rather unfortunate fashion in Germany's major domestic cup competition in the semi-final.

However, the Italian says he is determined to see the Bavarians wrap up the title as soon as possible. The reigning champions hold a healthy lead in the standings over RB Leipzig in second spot.

He told the club's official website, "It's a tough time for us. We're not happy. We were close to the semi-finals of the Champions League and the final of the DFB Cup.

"Small details were key, but that's football. Now we have to win the Bundesliga quickly. We have to be dedicated. We have to do our job and pick up points – that's the most important thing."
