Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that striker Olivier Giroud will not be going anywhere at the end of the season.
Marseille are reportedly confident of luring the France international back to Ligue 1, but Wenger has poured cold water on that course of action.
"I have had no approach from Marseille and we want to keep Olivier Giroud at the club," said Wenger.
He did add, however, they were keen on strengthening for the new season, despite wide reports stating that this could be Wenger's last campaign in charge of the club.
"Transfer targets are the future of the club and therefore they are very important. What happens with me is a bit secondary, what is important is the future of the club," he said.
