Keeper scores incredible empty-net goal

Argentinean goalkeeper Matias Dituro scored a pretty amazing goal for his Bolivian side Bolivar on Sunday afternoon.

With Bolivar leading San Jose 2-1 in the final few minutes of the game, San Jose decided to send their keeper up for a free kick in an attempt to grab a late equaliser.

Dituro had other ideas though, as he leapt high to claim the set piece before immediately launching a huge goal kick downfield.

Take a look here:

The San Jose keeper can be seen scrambling back down the pitch but it’s a hopeless cause as the ball takes a few bounces before rolling into the empty net.

The goal was more befitting an NHL game as it resembles the kind of empty-netter scored when one team pulls their goaltender while trying to grab a late equaliser.

With skills like that he should probably be playing outfield.

It wasn’t the only breathtaking goal scored this weekend as Colombian international Juan Valencia hit a sensational goal for Independiente Medellin as they defeated Tolima 3-2.

The orange ball is a bit hard to follow, but it is a great goal that some are suggesting could be a contender for a Puskas award.
