Bonucci: Juve must keep winning

Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci has urged his teammates to keep the wins coming after thrashing Genoa 4-0 in the Serie A on Sunday.

The Bianconeri came into the Genoa clash on the back of a 3-0 aggregate win over Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals, and Bonucci is determined to keep the positivity going.

Juve are top of the Serie A standings with an eleven-point lead over Roma with five games left to play.

“It was important to get a result in the league after going through in the Champions League,” Bonucci said, according to the club's official website.

“We have our feet on the ground and we prefer to forget the past and focus on the future.

“There aren’t many games left now and we’ve kept our lead intact. We have three league matches now and two in the Champions League – that’s going to be the key period in our season.”
