Sunday’s Eredivisie round-up

Feyenoord put one hand on the Eredivisie trophy after Ajax lost on Sunday, while ADO Den Haag secured their top-flight status for next season.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst's Feyenoord are just one win away from title success after beating Vitesse 2-0 at the GelreDome.

A first-half brace from Nicolai Jorgensen (10', 28') secured a second successive victory for the league leaders as they pulled four points clear of second-placed Ajax, with just two games to go.

Peter Bosz's side saw their title hopes dashed following a 1-0 loss to defending champions PSV at the Philips Stadion, where Jurgen Locadia's 25th-minute goal separated the two Dutch giants.

The Amsterdam outfit need to win their final two matches and hope that De Stadionclub slip up in the run-in, while De Boeren are just a further three points adrift in third spot and still in with a chance of finishing runners-up in the league.

Elsewhere, ADO Den Haag ensured their survival with a narrow 1-0 win over struggling Sparta Rotterdam at Het Kasteel.

Abdenasser El Khayati scored the only goal of the game in the 10th minute as the Hague club moved seven points clear of the bottom-three in 12th position, with De Kasteelheren still two points shy of safety in 16th spot.

Roda JC, meanwhile, aren't quite safe yet after going down 1-0 to Utrecht at Stadion Galgenwaard, where Zakaria Labyad (87') scored a late winner.

Erik ten Hag's men cemented fourth place in the league and Europa League football, while De Koempels find themselves only two points above the drop zone in 16th position.

Sunday's results:

Utrecht 1-0 Roda JC

Sparta Rotterdam 0-1 ADO Den Haag

Vitesse 0-2 Feyenoord

PSV 1-0 Ajax
