Mourinho praises Red Devils for top win at Burnley

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho praised his team after their victory over Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday, saying Turf Moor is a difficult place to play.

Anthony Martial and captain Wayne Rooney were on target in the first-half as the Red Devils ran out comfortable 2-0 winners to stay in contention for a top four place in the league standings.

The Clarets have built something of a fortress at Turf Moor this season, having already won 10 matches at home in the league this season and Mourinho was quick to laud his players for they way they stuck to their task.

Mourinho told MUTV after the game: "Individual performances, top. Collective performance, top. Total control of the game.

"Very difficult place to play and I think, since the beginning of the game, we had a feeling that we were going to win the game.

"Even in the second half, [it was] closer to 3-0 than 2-1. Very good really."
