Galatasaray: Bruma is going nowhere

Galatasaray say that no deal has been agreed to with Tottenham Hotspur over talented Portuguese winger Bruma.

Reports in the British and Turkish media claimed the 22-year-old former Sporting attacker was on his way to the English Premier League at the end of the season for around £12.5million.

But Galatasaray have revealed this not to be the case for the Guinea-Bissau-born Bruma, who has eight goals in 23 Super Lig appearances this season.

A statement on the official Galatasaray website read: "In this news that is not really interesting, there is no official offer to reach us, just as there is no secret agreement for the price [with] the club that has been named [Tottenham]."

The club also denied that Bruma was demanding a "100 percent raise as a condition to signing a new contract with our club".

Bruma's current deal with the Turkish giants expires in June 2018.
