Chelsea manager Antonio Conte says that Manchester United wanted it more after Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford opened up the title race.
The Blues are stumbling ahead of the finish line, and their lead over second-placed Tottenham is now down to four points with six games left to play.
"I think they deserved to win," Conte said after the match. "They showed more desire than us and more motivation, but in this case the fault is with the coach. In this case I wasn’t able to transfer the right motivation to play this type of game."
"I am concerned, we have to work together and find quickly the right desire and ambition to win this title.
"We stay in a great position, but Tottenham are in good form and playing very well and with enthusiasm. We must have the same.
"For sure I must have confidence in myself and in the players and the club, it is not the first time they have faced this situation.
"We are lucky, we must be proud to have this type of situation because we are doing a very good job. We must understand what was wrong today, address that together. I repeat today's performance the fault is mine."
