After losing to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, FC Bayern München manager Carlo Ancelotti expects his side to produce a response in Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
The Bavarians suffered a 2-1 defeat to Real in the quarter-final first leg at home last Wednesday, and now have it all to do in the second leg in Spain.
Nonetheless, the Italian insists Bayern rise to the occasion against the Eleven of the Company and focus on the game at the BayArena.
He told the side's official website, "I don’t want to talk about the game against Real Madrid. I know my players very well and I’m confident they’ll play with character and personality (against Leverkusen).
"I think we can show a positive reaction. Then we have time after that to think about the return leg against Real Madrid."
For the encounter, the German champions will start with Juan Bernat at left-back, with David Alaba switching to the centre of defence. Jerome Boateng is out with a minor niggle while Robert Lewandowski and Mats Hummels are out with suspension and injury respectively.
