Wenger not happy with Walcott comments

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was not happy with Theo Walcott’s comments about their defeat to Crystal Palace.

"We are all disappointed in the changing room, like the fans are," Walcott said after the 3-0 loss. "We let them down.

"They wanted it more. You could sense that from the kick-off."

"It is not acceptable. But the players were conscious of that when we were in the decisive duels.

"That's what I said straight after the game. We were beaten, and you have to face reality and respond."

The Gunners will be under pressure to bounce back when they face Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium on Monday.
