Ajax Amsterdam defender Davinson Sanchez says he is aware of the interest from Barcelona, but remains committed to stay at the Amsterdam ArenA.
Barcelona were strongly linked with a moved for the Colombia international defender during the off season, but the 20-year-old snubbed the advances of Luis Enrique's side who were keen on adding him to the club's B team.
Peter Bosz side subsequently signed the highly-rated defender for €5 million, from Atletico Nacional on a five-year deal and he's impressed in his debut campaign under the tutelage of the Dutchman.
Five goals in 29 league appearances for the title chasing side has reignited the interest of the Blaugrana, but the ball-playing central defender says he's happy at de Godenzonen.
"People in South America know Ajax as a nice gateway to a good career in Europe. But I only just got here and I want to achieve something before making the next step," Sanchez told Voetbal International.
"It is very flattering to be linked with a club like Barcelona. I am not thinking about it for now. Ajax are my main priority at this stage."
Ajax are currently in second place in the league, trailing leaders Feyenoord by three points and feature on Thursday against Schalke in the Europa League quarter-final.
