Borussia Dortmund head coach Thomas Tuchel feels AS Monaco have a slight edge in form ahead of their quarter-final UEFA Champions League first-leg encounter.
The Bundesliga side come into Tuesday's fixture at Signal Iduna Park; after suffering a 4-1 thumping at the hands of league leaders FC Bayern München.
Die Borussen are also without Mario Götze, André Schürrle, Erik Durm and captain Marco Reus remains a serious doubt.
Tuchel admits the French opposition will pose a major threat due to their attacking prowess and their fearless young team have impressed him during the run-in towards the last-eight stage of the competition.
"Monaco have lots of players who impress us," he told reporters. "We think they have outstanding individual talent, but they are also very compact as a team and athletically very strong.
"It's a very complete package with an outstanding coach who has a distinctive style. They have big personalities and a lot of good young players.
"It is a 50-50 game, but the momentum is slightly on their side."
