Juventus forward Gonzalo Higuain says Barcelona won't have another off day, ahead of Tuesday's UEFA Champions League quarter-final.
The Argentina international feels the Liga champions won't be falling to another surprise 4-0 loss, as they suffered in the previous round's first leg tie to PSG – which Luis Enrique's side spectacularly turned around with a 6-1 victory at the Camp Nou.
Having spent six years with the Blaugrana's domestic rivlas Real Madrid, before a move to the Serie A, the 29-year-old is well aware of the challenge that awaits Massimo Allegri's side.
"Football is so changeable, and a team that everyone thought was knocked out went through to the quarters," Higuain said in the pre-match press conference.
"They'll be full of confidence. Barca had an off-day in Paris and I don't think they'll have another quite like that.
"We have home advantage first and want to get a good result to give ourselves a real chance in Barcelona. We won't be able to take our foot off the gas, not even for a split-second."
Higuain has scored 27 goals in 42 games this season since making a controversial €90 million switch from Napoli in the off season.
