Pochettino delighted as Spurs keep up the chase

There were hugs all round from Mauricio Pochettino after Tottenham cruised to a 4-0 win over Watford at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

Heung-Min Son scored twice after Dele Alli and Eric Dier had sent them on their way to a convincing win that keeps the pressure on league leaders Chelsea.

"I'm very happy with the performance," Pochettino said. "We need to keep pushing. We're in a good position. We have great momentum. Belief is here.

"We must keep doing well. We must keep going. Our focus now is to win the next game. Our mentality is to keep pushing."

Spurs are maintaining their title push more in hope than expectation, but six wins in a row is very good form for Spurs, and opening scorer Dele Alli gave his take on their demolition of the Hornets.

"They made it difficult for us in the first 15 mins," the English winger said. "Thankfully mine went in then it drew them out and we found more space."

"People are going to be scared to come here. The fans are great and get behind us. They spur us on that extra bit."
