Neymar has surpassed Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as the best player in the world over recent months, believes Brazil coach Tite.
The Barcelona man has been in sparkling form for both club and country after his six goals in qualifying have seen Brazil become the first country to secure a place at next year’s World Cup.
Neymar’s double also inspired Barcelona to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League after their remarkable comeback against Paris Saint-Germain.

Tite – who has steered Brazil to victory in all eight of their World Cup qualifiers – insists that has seen Ronaldo and Messi’s dominance over the best player in the world tag come to an end.
"In the last four months, the best is Neymar," he said.
Tite handed Neymar the captain’s armband for Brazil’s clash against Paraguay last month, and he led his country to a 3-0 win.
"I told him I wanted him to feel comfortable in that role," Tite added.
"[Neymar replied] You can count on me. I'm ready.'"
