RB Leipzig manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has his eye firmly on the prize – to qualify for the Champions League next season.
With seven league matches to play this season, the newly-promoted side are in second spot on the Bundesliga standings, 10 points behind FC Bayern München and four points above TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
Having beaten 1. FSV Mainz 05 3-2 last weekend, Leipzig will welcome Bayer 04 Leverkusen to the Red Bull Arena confident of edging closer to qualifying for the Champions League for the very first time in their short eight year history.

“We are glad that we were able to take the intensity of the game against Mainz in our stride,” Hasenhuttl was quoted by his club’s website.
“I am proud of my team, that they have accepted the fight so well,” he added.
Hasenhuttl however is taking nothing for granted as he sees his side closing in on their end goal of playing in Europe’s top club competition.
“We want to go into the Champions League. We have the opportunity to write history,” concluded Hasenhuttl.
