Zidane wants Isco to sign new deal

Zinedine Zidane has stated that he wants Isco to remain at Real Madrid with the midfielder insisting he also wants to continue playing for the club.

Los Merengues beat Alaves 3-0 on Sunday, and Isco scored his seventh goal in six starts to showcase his quality.

After the victory, Zidane was asked about Isco's future, as his contract expires at the end of the season, and the French tactician revealed that he wants Isco to extend his stay.

“Isco? There will be a big game every three days,” Zidane said after the game, according to Football Espana.

“But to win a League, a Champions League, all the players are important. After that, when Isco plays, like the good lad that he is, he does well.

“There’s 24 of us and all of them are important. I want him to renew his contract, he’s an important player.

“He wants to be here, to play here. I’m happy for his performance, not only for his goal but also for his performance between the lines so the others could play."
