Marko Pjaca will not feature for Juventus again this season after suffering a serious knee injury while on international duty with Croatia earlier this week.
The 21-year-old winger tore his anterior cruciate ligaments during Vatreni's 3-0 defeat to Estonia in Tuesday's friendly after his foot got stuck in the turf.
Pjaca was carried off on a stretcher at the Lillekula Stadium and scans by the Croatian Football Federation confirmed the extent of the damage on Wednesday.
Commenting on his compatriot's injury in a post-match interview, Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic said the pitch was to blame and added "it's got to be serious and this is worse than our defeat."
Despite returning injured from international duty for a second time this season, the youngster has enjoyed a promising start to his Juve career, making 19 appearances in all competitions since joining the Serie A champions from Dinamo Zagreb in July last year.
