FC Bayern München have been boosted by news that goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has returned to training after he missed out on Germany's recent matches with injury.
It will come as a plus to the Bavarians as the club face a hectic schedule of matches in April. Carlo Ancelotti's men will play nine games including two matches against Borussia Dortmund in the league and cup, as well as Real Madrid twice in a UEFA Champions League quarter-final.
As such, the club's official website hailed the news of Neuer's return. A statement said: "Neuer resumed regular training. The world's best goalkeeper missed Germany's matches due to injury and took a breather last week.
"He gave it everything on Monday, working with goalkeeping coach Toni Topalovic. Neuer was not to be stopped even though a sprinkler head behind his goal was suddenly activated."
The side resume Bundesliga action with a clash against FC Augsburg on 1 April at the Allianz Arena. Bayern currently lead the league by 13 points over RB Leipzig.
