Andrej Kramaric says TSG 1899 Hoffenheim are performing well this season as a result of the affinity the club's players have for manager Julian Nagelsmann.
Die Kraichgauer ended 15th in the Bundesliga last season but are currently in fourth place after 25 games, just four points from second-placed RB Leipzig.
Kramaric has been a significant contributor to the club's success this season, with eight goals and seven assists.
And ahead of the side's league tie with Hertha Berlin on Friday, the 25-year-old said the club have the potential to maintain their form and hopefully secure a Champions League place.
He told the official Bundesliga website: "We have a lot of potential in the team, but we must remain humble and not say the magic words!
"Nobody expected the start we had, especially given how things were just six months earlier. The team has changed a bit since then and with the coach, we're improving day by day."
On his young manager, with Nagelsmann just 29, he added: "He's a bit different from other coaches, and not just because he's the youngest in Bundesliga history.
"Julian has everything to become one of the greatest coaches ever. The players are delighted to go into every training session with him, and that's how we approach our games. This is why were are enjoying such a good period."
