AS Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is set to leave the UEFA Champions League quarter-finalists at the end of the season.
English Premier League side Chelsea have reportedly agreed personal terms with the towering central midfielder, pipping Manchester City and Manchester United to the signature of the newly called up France national team footballer.
The physically imposing defensive midfielder has been an integral part of Leonardo Jardim's side, who currently lead Ligue 1 by three points, featuring in 26 of the 30 games played this season.
Now, according to Spanish football expert, Guillem Balague, the Blues have convinced the 22-year-old to play his football at Stamford Bridge next season.
"Monaco's Bakayoko has agreed personal terms with Chelsea," Balague said on Twitter. "Next step is for Chelsea to pay Monaco more than anybody else for the midfielder."
The former Rennes youth product has played 82 times for Les Monégasques since making an €8 million move in 2014.
