Twente got their European challenge back on track as they cruised to a 3-0 victory over Roda JC at the Parkstad Limburg Stadion on Friday.
A first-half brace from Finnish teenager Fredrik Jensen put the visitors in command before Enes Unal sealed the win 13 minutes from time.
De Koempels find themselves at the wrong end of the table in 16th spot, but they made a promising start in Kerkrade, with Mitchell Paulissen and Dani Schahin forcing saves out of Nick Marsman.
But the Tukkers broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark when Jensen shrugged off the attentions of Frederic Ananou to slot home past Benjamin van Leer.
Schahin and Mikhail Rosheuvel failed to take the chances that came their way after the hosts had gone behind, and Jensen made them pay as he found the back of the net again two minutes before half-time.
Rene Hake's side weren't seriously troubled in the second half and the club's top scorer, Unal, wrapped up the three points on 77 minutes to left them to fifth in the Eredivisie table.
