Barcelona forward Neymar believes he is enjoying his best season yet at the Catalans and would be sad to see manager Luis Enrique leave.
The Brazilian has scored 12 goals and provided 16 assists for Barca in all competitions this campaign, as they still eye silverware in La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Champions League.
"I think it's my best season at Barca," he told the club's official website. "Both myself and the team are getting better and that is important."
Enrique announced after the 6-1 win over Sporting Gijon that he will step down at the end of the season, and Neymar, who has won six major titles under him, will miss the manager.
"It's sad because he is someone we have a lot of affection for," Neymar added. "We have been with him for three seasons and we have a lot of faith in him. We wish him the best in life.
"He knows what is best for him and we are just happy with how he has helped us in the last few years in which we have won so many trophies."
