Serie A league leaders Juventus dropped points on a weekend when second-placed Roma lost to third-placed Napoli.
Juve needed a 60th minute Leonardo Bonucci goal to secure the point against Udinese after Daniel Zapata had opened the scoring on 37 minutes.
They remained top with 67 points, eights points clear of Roma and 10 better off than Napoli.
Udinese ended the weekend in 14th with 30 points.

Atalanta also dropped points, and one place to fifth, as they were held to a goalless draw by Fiorentina, who are in eighth with 42 points, 10 less than their opponents this weekend.
Internazionale though had no trouble seeing off Cagliari, as they recorded a convincing 5-1 win.
Ivan Perisic (34) opened the scoring before Ever Banega (39) added a second. Marco Borriello (42) reduced the deficit, but a second from Perisic (47) and further goals from Mauro icardi (67) and Roberto Gagliardini (88) sealed the result.
Elsewhere, 17th-placed Empoli suffered a 2-0 defeat to Genoa, who moved up to 15th where Jules Ntcham (89) scored late on before a second in injury-time from Oscar Hiljemark (90 2).
Torino had no troubles seeing off relegation-threatened Palermo 3-1 with Andrea Belotti netting a hat-trick with goals in the 73rd 76th and 81st minutes to leave them in ninth place and Palermo in 18th – seven points adrift of safety. Andrea Rispoli had scored a 30th minute opener.
19th-placed Crotone and 12th-placed Sassuolo played to a 0-0 draw as Lazio defeated Bologna 2-0 in the day's late game.
Ciro Immobile was on target in the ninth and 74th minutes to see his side move from sixth place to fourth, on 53 points, while their opponents on the day remained in 16th, with 28 points.
