Real Sociedad's Champions League hopes took a knock after they were held to a 2-2 draw by Eibar at the Anoeta on Tuesday.
The hosts got off to a promising start when they went in front through Juanmi in the 14th minute, but they were pegged back 12 minutes later by Gonzalo Escalante's equaliser.
La Real were handed a boost when Florian Lejeune was sent off a minute into the second half, but goalscorer Juanmi followed suit 13 minutes later as both teams were reduced to 10 men.
A 67th-minute penalty from Carlos Vela appeared to secure all three points for the Basque outfit, only for Pedro Leon to level the scoreline deep into stoppage time.
