Borussia Monchengladbach forward Andre Hahn has warned his team-mates to be wary of wounded Hamburg in Wednesday's DFB-Pokal quarter-final at the Volksparkstadion.
HSV were thrashed 8-0 by FC Bayern München in their last Bundesliga encounter, and manager Markus Gisdol will no doubt be looking for a response from his team against the Foals.
As such, Hahn has advised that Gladbach be on their toes ahead of Wednesday's tie in Hamburg, telling the club's official website: "They have said they want to come at us all guns blazing.
"I am looking forward to that and so is the team. Games in Hamburg are always great because they have a wonderful stadium with lovely surroundings.
"But we also want to make sure we get further in the competition. With the attitude we're showing at the moment and the style of football we're playing I am confident.
"We have to keep backing up the last few showings and we will do that with a team performance with our fans behind us."
The West German outfit have won the DFB-Pokal Cup on three occasions previously – in 1960, 1973 and 1995.
