FC Bayern München goalkeeper Manuel Neuer believes that Wednesday's DFB Pokal Cup quarter-final against Schalke will be a tough test despite the club walloping Hamburg 8-0 in the Bundesliga.
The Bavarians were held to a 1-1 draw by the Royal Blues in early February and are just the second side apart from Hertha Berlin to have taken points off the team in their last 15 matches.
As such, Germany international Neuer has made no secret of the challenge Bayern face at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, despite their quite phenomenal thrashing in their last league match.
He told the club's official website: "Schalke are in good form and have been playing well recently. We've just played them at home so we already know what a difficult game it'll be and that's what you expect in the cup."
The German giants will have a near-full strength squad available for the tie with the exception of Renato Sanches who is out with illness. Other casualties include Jerome Boateng while Xabi Alonso is doubtful.
