Leicester players lambasted online after Liverpool win

It was all too predictable.

Leicester, who for weeks have been playing like a League Two side, sack manager Claudio Ranieri, and suddenly players who a week earlier couldn’t hit a barn door from five yards become world beaters.

And so it transpired at the King Power Stadium on Monday as Leicester smashed Liverpool 3-1 thanks to two goals from Jamie Vardy and a stunning long-range strike from Danny Drinkwater.

The evening began with a protest of sorts in support of Ranieri.

Then, when the game got underway. Clearly a different team had turned up.

Fans and pundits were pretty unanimous in their verdict!

Although some thought it may have more to do with the opposition.

And we’ll leave to Gary Lineker to have the last word!
