Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has admitted that even if he wins the Premier League title this season, he still wouldn't feel secure in his job.
Conte alluded to the recent sacking of Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri, who was sacked just nine months after a miraculous Premier League title win.
Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho suffered a similar fate at Stamford Bridge, losing his job only six months after winning the 2014/15 Premier League crown.
"I think that in this football, in this type of modern football, it is not easy to start a project or to be sure you will stay in a for a long time in the same team," Conte told the press. "It is not only for me but for all coaches.
"Then for sure if you have the possibility to stay for many years in the same team, yeah, you can work to improve your idea. You can work to improve your players.
"But the results… the results in football are very important. We all know this and it can happen that one season you win the title and the next you can be going on your way."
