Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho praised striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic after claiming the English Football League Cup with a 3-2 win over Southampton.
Ibrahimovic bagged a brace for the Red Devils at Wembley to clinch the trophy and take his goal tally up to 26 for the season.
Mourinho was delighted with the win and credited the Swede for leading the team to silverware with an influential performance.
"I think, honestly, he won the game for us," Mourinho told Sky Sports.
"He was outstanding in a match where our opponent was better than us for long periods of the game. I think they deserved to go to extra time.
"I am a bit emotional. It is not easy to win titles so many times — there is pressure I have put myself under throughout my career.
"The cup is for the players. My last cup here, with Chelsea against Tottenham, was emotional too.
"It's special. And if I don't get emotional, then it is time to go home."
