Struggling ADO Den Haag showed some grit to hold on to a hard fought 1-1 draw with Twente in Friday's Eredivisie clash at the Kyocera Stadium in the Hague.
As expected, Twente started the stronger of the two sides and Enes Unal would go close when his header went over the bar from Dylan Seys' cross in the opening exchanges.
Seys would then test keeper Robert Zwinkels with a volley soon after. However, Den Haag would hit the front against the run of play when Ruben Schaken netted in the 12th minute.
The home side rallied and eventually their class would count when Unal levelled matters after good work by Kamohelo Mokotjo in the 26th minute. Yet, Den Haag were threatening and had two decent chances before the break.
After the interval, Seys and Fredrik Jensen both had efforts on goal but they were both seen off by Zwinkels in the net for the Storks. There were few further alarms in the second period and it finished 1-1 in the Hague.
