Eder says Inter Milan will "must make the most" of their chances against Roma in an crucial Serie A clash on Sunday.
Inter head into this weekend's tie, in fourth place on the standings, some eight points adrift of second-placed Roma.
The last time these two powerhouses faced each other, in October 2016, Roma emerged with a 2-1 win thanks to Edin Dzeko's opener and an own-goal from Mauro Icardi, that cancelled out Ever Banega's equaliser.
And with their chances of Champions League qualification in the balance, with Atalanta and Lazio hot on their heels, Eder has outlined the importance of this match, on the back of nine top-flight wins in their last ten games.
Eder, who has three goals in his last five league appearances for Inter, told the club's official website: "We are doing very well, we are on the right path but those ahead of us are setting an incredible pace.
"We know it is an important game – it has become that way because of our recent results.
"Roma are a very strong opponent, it is a 50-50 game even though we have the slight advantage of playing at home, which we must make the most of. In any case, we will be ready."
He added: "If the squad does well, then individuals will do well too. In that regard the Giallorossi are strong.
"I know Daniele De Rossi because I have played with him for the national team, he is a player with personality like Radja Nainggolan and others."
