Arsenal have suffered a major blow with news that influential midfielder Santi Cazorla will miss the remainder of the 2016/17 season.
The Spain international was expected to return to the first team during the latter part of the campaign after an initial Achilles injury in October required surgery.
However, Cazorla's troubles have not ended, as his ankle problem led to 'several medical procedures', according to reports in the Independent.

The 32-year-old scored two goals and registered three assists in 11 games before being laid low by injury, which will now rule him out for another six months.
Arsene Wenger side has missed Cazorla's presence after he started the season in incredible form before being injured in the Champions League group stage fixture against Ludogorets.
