FA Cup upsets turn twitter’s attention to Arsenal

After Lincoln and Millwall caused upsets in the FA Cup on Saturday, the focus of the Internet has now turned to Monday’s clash between non-league Sutton United and Arsenal.

Saturday was a day of shocks as Lincoln became the first non-league team to reach the quarterfinal of the competition in 103 years after they beat Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor before League One Millwall beat struggling Premier League champions Leicester by the same score in London.

Manchester City also flirted with FA Cup disaster, drawing 0-0 with Championship side Huddersfield.

Still, the surprise results got the Internet wags looking forward to the next potential upset when Arsene Wenger’s team face Sutton United – with hilarious results as the Gunners’ fans gallows humour was out in full effect.

Meanwhile, Arsenal fans were still in a headspin about the embarrassing midweek 5-1 loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, even more so following Bayern’s result against Hertha Berlin.

Seriously, who’d be an Arsenal fan?
