It may be hard to believe, but Neymar has become the first Barcelona player to win the La Liga Player of the Month award.
Since the award's inception in September 2013, no Barcelona player has won the gong despite the Catalan giants boasting the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar, Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Luis Suarez in its ranks in recent years.
But the drought is over as Neymar picked up the award for November on the back of his sensational goalscoring form that yielded five goals in three games against Villarreal, Real Madrid and Real Sociedad.
Nolito from Celta Vigo won the September prize while Eibar's Borja Baston picked up the award in October.
Meanwhile, Altetico Madrid manager Diego Simeone won the Coach of the Month award after the club won their three against matches Sporting Gijon, Real Betis and Espanyol without conceding a goal.
It is the second time that Simeone has won the award following his success in October 2013.
Marcelino Garcia Toral from Villarreal was named top boss in September and Ernesto Valverde from Athletic Bilbao walked away with the award in October.
