FC Bayern München chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has declared that he has full belief in manager Carlo Ancelotti after the club destroyed Arsenal 5-1 in the Champions League.
The Bavarians put on a vintage display in tearing the Gunners to shreds in last Wednesday's Round of 16 first leg tie at the Allianz Arena.
After a few minor wobbles in form in the first part of the season under Ancelotti, it appears the team are hitting top gear under the Italian.
As such, Rummenigge has expressed his delight with the performance of the 57-year-old. He told the club's official website: "It was an impressive demonstration of strength. It was a wonderful match broadcast to the whole world.
"You could see the team are capable of total focus when it's important. Carlo is a fantastic coach who has demonstrated he can shape a team from individual players."
