Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has reassured the club's fans that the knee injury he picked up against Gent in the Europa League on Tuesday is not a serious one.
Kane played the full 90 minutes of the 1-0 defeat to the Belgian outfit at the Ghelamco Arena, but did suffer a heavy knock late on and was seen limping slightly on the pitch.
When asked whether he would be fit to take on Fulham in the FA Cup fifth round at Craven Cottage on Sunday, he replied: "Yes, it should be fine."
However, whether Mauricio Pochettino will be willing to risk his star asset in a cup competition is another matter entirely.
"I think we need to assess some players. Harry Kane got a knock on his knee, different players too," the manager said.
"We need to refresh the team and we'll do that. Tottenham will play in Fulham on Sunday. It's not the name of the players, it's the club.
"We'll see, but we'll put out a team with aims to win and be ready again to compete."
